Strengths:    If you don't use the zoom in picture mode, it is a great point and shoot digital camera. As such, it can yield nice photos. If you put a 4 gigabyte SD card into this camera, you have 12000 pictures you can take. More importantly, you can get many pictures while traveling and a whole bunch of movies. I recently spent a week on a sailboat cruise and took movies to try it out. I couldn't believe when I uploaded the movies to my computer and played them that it also had sound. Wow. By the way, I bought mine for 3 bucks at Goodwill.

Weaknesses:    You must wait for the green light while it stores your pictures. You can't rush it.

Bottom Line:
In summary, it doesn't take pictures as well as my Nikon F. But, I could use it strictly for travel and I love its size. And by the way, the pictures really are pretty good.
