Strength:

Sturdy build quality. fast startup. no noticable shutter lag. amazing monitor clarity. very accurate spot meter.

Weakness:

i still have trouble finding some things in the menu, which if olympus were to print in a comprehensive booklet you could have a quick look instead you have to go home and look on the computer disc.

with 8 million pixels to feed it soon eats away at your memory card i have a 512
memory card which is the smallest i would recommend and this gives me 120 pictures

I brought this camera to take with me when i go hiking in the lake district, i had been taking my dynax 7 or my kodak dx6490 but the dynax was cumbersome to carry and i needed a camera that i could slip in my pocket, In steps the mju 800 8 million pixels plenty of scene modes to choose from fast startup and outdoor weather protection, it fitted the bill perfectly and 6 months on with over 2000 pictures under its belt i am still pleased with the olympus.

I will rate this camera at 4.7 out of 5

Customer Service
