Strength:

Super large LCD screen, good moderate light performance without flash, although some noise shows up. Takes pretty good pics without trying in most cases.

Weakness:

only 3x optical zoom. Uses xd memory card.

For the price this camera is hard to beat. I have 3 'cheap' digicams. This is not a full featured camera for those demanding extensive manual control.

What this camera offers is a very affordable price along with excellent, out of the box imaging.

Exposure is usually decent, but it allows for manual compensation when required.

It can take 3 shots in rapid sucession for those 'gotta get it now' shots.

The LCD view window really shines as it is quite larger than most and easy to see.

The optical zoom is the standard 3x.

The macro mode is standard, but the 6 MP resolution is enough to be able to crop those shots and show all the detail.

The camera performs well in moderate to low light unlike some others (die Minolta!), but some noise does show up in lower light, longer exposure shots. Thank goodness for software filters!

All in all this is the overall best digicam I have in the sub $400 range. Since I got this camera under $200 it makes it a real steal for the quality it offers.
