from Best Buy Summary: I bought this camera for my wife and 12 yr. old son to use--no way are they getting close to my 10D. Main feature that swayed me to this camera was the anti-shake system. It provides some help with crisper photos--but not a ton.
Overall, though, it's a nice little camera. Menus are easy to navigate and there is a short-cut to some menu features you can use while shooting (instead of going to the "set up" menu").
Fiarly noisy at higher ISOs, but it has a range from 64 - 1600. And when printing 4X6 prints, picture quality is fantastic right out of the camera--which was essential for my computer-challenged spouse.
No way to adjust shutter speed or f-stop--which I hate. But for my wife and son it's a bonus because that would just confuse them!
Light-weight and tiny, if fits almost anywhere. Great for travel. Strengths: Small size, ISO down to 64, anti-shake mode, easy menus, good battery life per charge. Weaknesses: Starts to get noisy above ISO 200, but not realy noticable on a 4X6. Similar Products Used: Sony 707 (the Olympus doesn't hold a candle to this 5 MP Sony, but the Sony did cost 3x as much).
