from Sears Summary: Good camera for the price. Makes good images. A good amount of exposure control and options. Turn on time is quick but there is a bit of shutter lag that can throw you off if you want to take action shots. If you try and use it in a hurry your thumb might end up pressing something on the back and interrupt the shot. I would suggest this camera for someone with some photography knowledge who knows what they want to do. The flash is good, throws a lot of light but spontaneous shots are hard if the flash is not already charged, that takes some time. Strengths: Good image. You can choose several image resolutions and lighting situations. If you mix them up you can get some interesting results. Weaknesses: The exposure knob around the shutter may shift, if you're putting the camera in and out of a case, so you may get an undesired result. The camera seems delicate, I feel like I have to be careful how firm I hold it. Regular alkaline batteries don't last long, cold weather seems to drain them faster than the meter indicates. Similar Products Used: A Nikon 4600. An older, smaller camera. 4MP, good images though. The camera itself has a sturdier feel to it. Maybe that's just me.
