Strength:

Picture quality.
Ease-of-use.
Optical Viewfinder great in bright sun (few cameras have them any more).
Uses inexpensive AA batteries (Rechargeable recommended, but OK with alkalines in a pinch).
4X zoom gives a little extra "reach".
10MP sensor allows some pretty severe cropping, or very large prints.
Good back-up to a DSLR (or when you don't want to carry such a large camera).

Weakness:

Plastic construction feels pretty cheap.
Battery/SD card door latch broke-- currently being held tight by a shoe-lace (that's all I had when it broke... it works!!. Not worth getting repaired).
No way to attach filters
Lens does not cover wide angle.

Very good results from an inexpensive, easy-to-use camera. Fairly versatile, but no manual controls. "Scene" modes adequately handle most situations. Build quality just so-so.
