Product Description

Making it easier for consumers to capture beautiful pictures, the new COOLPIX S560 comes with Nikon's new Scene Auto Selector mode, which automatically selects the right scene mode for the image you are shooting for trouble-free photography. The camera will select between six common scene modes: Close-up, Portrait, Landscape, Backlight, Night Portrait, and Night Landscape. The S560 also contains several other unique shooting modes like Smile Mode, which automatically releases the shutter when the selected subject smiles.

Strengths:    Compact

Weaknesses:    Nikon does not honor warranty!

Bottom Line:
Camera lasted about 4.5 months then broke down. I took it back to the retailer who sent it on to Nikon. Nikon said it had been dropped and wanted $160 to repair. I tried to deal with them and get them to honor their 2 yr warranty but to no avail. Finally went back to London Drug who refunded the cost and bought a new Pentax W80 waterproof which is a much better camera!
