5X optical zoom with a further digital zoom.

5X optical zoom - although this may be good for general amatuer use for wildlife photographers who like to shoot from a distance it's not quite as good. TRY THE NIKON P90 - i got one for Christmas.

Generally the cameras 14.2 mega pixels help it to rise above other cameras. or atleast you would have thought. Like every camera it has its setbacks - AA battery's. AA battery's cost alot of money and therefore bring my star rating (out of 5) down to 2 stars. I may only be 14 but i am pretty good with photography - check out the site:

i bought a grade A camera (from amazon) so can't say much about service . However, I don't recommend buying this camera, but if you really want this camera then buy a Grade A one from amazon - i payed £90 and it works just the same as any other!

Try the Nikon P90. It has 12.1 mega pixels and LI - ION battery's AND 24X optical zoom! I bought the KODAK EASYSHARE Z1485 IS and then was really p***** off with the battery's - it was my first camera with AA battery's (i already had 5 cameras). So because of this i went out and looked for a new camera with a good zoom and more than 12 mega pixels. I found the Nikon P90. - BEST CAMERA EVER!!!!!

well it's a 14 megapixel and suposed to be HD

takes very poor quality pictures out of focus just not good !!

I saw this Kodak camera model Z 1485 14 megapixel camera advertised on home shopping club and thought to myself okay! Kodak plus 14 megapixel has to take nice pictures right? WRONG!!!! it takes terrable!! pictues they look out of focus and just unclear, I have a Sony 7 megapixel and a Nikon 12 megapixel both of which take much better pictures than this Kodak I was very!!!!! disapointed in the camera and with Kodak. I wound up giving the camera away after a few days and se veral tries at taking some decent pictures.

I would not recomend this camera to anyone!! save your money I'm out my 180 bucks! OH! the camera comes with very little or nothing! AND!!!! I am still trying to get my 30 dollar rebate!! not sure if I even will though on HSN they said it came with a 3o dollar rebat, just not a good deal.
