It has a bright three-inch LCD so it’s easy to see the screen, shoot your picture, and share it with friends. Its three-way Vibration Reduction (VR) Image Stabilization System minimizes the streaky images that result from shots taken with shaky hands. This affordable, lightweight camera is easy to carry and requires easy-to-find AA batteries.

Strength:

Good image stabilisation ,various custom modes especially easy panorama, and HD recording.

Weakness:

Poor image quality. Inthe race of megaixels and megazoom nikon may have won, but I have a feeling that they are all in the world of statistics to sell product.
I have tried my best to get at least one good quality photo , noise just too much.
Its a 16 MP camera ,itried with 12 and 10 MP ,in the hope of reducing noise, but even at ISO100 level, I felt the images were poor.
This was my first Nikon product ,since I was always a Canon fan. Iwas considering IXUS1100 and Coolpix 8200. ijust didnt think abt screen resoution ,so in the shop I ended up landing on Nikon. Bad ,bad decision.Just within two weeks I am dissppointed hugely.

Jack of all trade, master of none !!!!
Thats the best description about this camera...
