Strengths: cheap and fits in pocket, easy to use controls.Weaknesses: unreliableBottom Line: twice it's failed to focus; the part to focus has been replaced 1x, the camera is back at Nikon for the 2nd time. Good thing there's a 2 year warranty in Canada.

Bottom Line: Use this for business shots in energy audits so Macro, high ISO settings, etc all get empoyed dependent on teh shot and light. . Camera lost focus almost immediately, and undr warranty Nikon fixed it. Cannot recommend this camera, specs are great on paper but the focus control is poor enough that I will likely replace it shortly, probably a Canon 90 or a G11.
Too bad, it has the potential, but not the delivery. Jim
