DESCRIPTION

The Nikon 1 AW1 is the world's first rugged, interchangeable lens digital camera. It's waterproof to 49 feet (14.9m), it can handle drops of 6.6 feet (2m), and it will keep on working in sub-freezing temperatures. The AW1 is part of the Nikon 1 mirrorless camera system and accepts any of the 1 Nikkor interchangeable lenses (they aren't all waterproof, though). It has a 14-megapixel, 1-inch "CX-format" sensor and can capture full HD 60i video as well as still photos. It can shoot full-resolution bursts at up to 60 FPS and it even has built-in GPS - it's the ultimate outdoor action sports camera.
