Summary:
Wow what a camera !!!! I bought this product due to assurances that it was higher quality due to the resolution of the lenses. Some people were telling me to by the Nikon others to wait for the Fuji. I went into my local camera shop and they had this camera fully equipped with lenses and flash even 32MB card batts, charger and mains adapter the FULL KIT for under £3000 (a loy less than the afformentioned). Having then done my 'homework' and read some magazine reviews and telephoned a very helpful guy at Minolta UK, I made the purchase. This thing is amazing !!! The pictures are very sharp and the metering is spot on time and time again, partically with flash. Its not exactly small body-wise but is very well weighted and comfortable to use. I am a pro photographer who has put off going digital for as long as I could. The only digital work I have done is on a Scanner (Minolta Scan Elite). But know I hardly use film this RD3000 is everything I need.

Strengths:
Price Package Quality Accuracy Features Battery life

Weaknesses:
Time to write to the card and reaccess the files. But you get to live with it.

Similar Products Used:
Nikon D1 and Fuji S1 when available

Customer Service:
Superb as always
