    Review 1 of 11

Price Paid:  $32.00 from Ebay (used)

    Summary:
Excellent webcam with the added benefits of a 'FUN' digicam. If you don't expect too much from it, then you'll be very happy. If you want 'printable' photograph quality then get your cheque book out and spend $$$ on a proper digital camera. Easy for the kids to use without spending lots of money on processing.

    Strengths:
Lightweight. Easy to use. CHEAP & FUN. Excellent as a WebCam. Good as a FUNcam. Useless as a DigiCam.

    Weaknesses:
No auto-focus or flash... but what do you expect for this price?

    Review 2 of 11

    Summary:
I purchased this camera because I needed a webcam and I figured a 2 in 1 for just $50 more was a good deal. I had a Sony Mavica FD-73 which was beginning to go out of date at the time. Anyways, this webcamgo is not that good. Firstly, it eats batteries. I never got the advertised 300 shots, only 125 at MOST and around 50 with cheap batteries. Secondly, the quality is horrible. I'd say 50% of the time the photos would t urn out somewhat okay, while the other 50% were very blurry. Trying to focus is hard too because the viewfinder and the lens do not match up! You have to tilt your camera a little bit to the left if you want it to be centered properly! There are better cameras with the same resolution with a lower price. I do not recommend this camera unless the primary use is as a webcam.

    Strengths:
Very light, webcam function is not bad, easy to install

    Weaknesses:
No flash (can't take photos at night), eats batteries, body looks bad, hard to focus, image quality is lackluster

    Similar Products Used:
-Sony Mavica FD-73 -JVC Digital Camcorders

    Customer Service:
Not bad, I had to get A LOT of help with the drivers after I owned the camera for a few months.

    Review 3 of 11

    Summary:
Installation was very straightforward (Pentium II; 400). I have no other digital camera to compare with but have seen results of more standard digital cameras. This camera does not begin to compare with them. The images captured, especially at mid to long distance, are consistently blurred down the left side. The lack of any scale on the focus control results in pot-luck on anything within 2 metres - actually, I often forget to re-focus anyway, being too used to TTL or auto focus cameras. Considering the difficulty getting enough light, the lack of a flash is a significant disadvantage. As a web cam it performs well, although again I have to use as much light as I can arrange. It does have lots of memory and is reasonably light on batteries - Incidentally, it plays havoc with my system when the batteries need to be replaced. It is not so much a cheap digital camera as an expensive web cam. Having said that, it has given me the bug for a decent digital camera - pity I spent as much on this one. It would be an interesting buy at half the price.

    Strengths:
    Very light and portable.

    Weaknesses:
Poor quality stills, actually blurred down one side.

    Similar Products Used:
Only a variety of TTL cameras.

    Customer Service:
Not used. It has performed without a hitch.

    Summary:
This product is a shame for Creative labs and an insult for the users who once belived in the company: I'm a web developer and submit de video feed and still images to some clients who will access the site. In their opinion the images where "ugly, bad focus, trash and some other strong words". I do not recomend to any one, to buy such bad product.

    Strengths:
Cheap price easy to install and use software

    Weaknesses:
Bad foucusing bad colors fuzzy image worst with low ligth

    Review 5 of 11

    Summary:
I never had owned a digital camera beofre in life so I needed something simple to begin with so I could dowload it into my computer easily. It is simple to point and click the Creative WebCam Go and just as easy to download into my computer considering I knew almost nothing about computers or digital cameras for that matter.

    Strengths:
The absolute simplicity of the camera foolproof for the beginner

    Weaknesses:
Needs a manual focus adjustment for distance seems when I get further then 5 feet it was all blurred.

    Similar Products Used:
    Creative webcam for computer
