    Summary:
I really was expecting a lot more from an Intel product. Videoconferencing between 2 really fast computers both on cable modems is nowhere near acceptable. You can see the other person sure but that's about it. The technology isn't really there yet for this product. Even on my 100mbps LAN videoconferencing leaves a ton to be desired. On top of that the software bundle doesn't work with Windows 2000 so all i can do is videoconference. It is easy to setup and looks ok but i would not recommend any webcam for videoconferencing until everyone is on a T3 line.

    Strengths:
    USB

    Weaknesses:
    Software Bundle Compatability

    Summary:
This product totally sucks. The first one I bought would not install from the CD provided, then, I was stupid enough to take a replacement instead of getting my money back. The second cam managed to crash three different computers, one 98SE, and two Windows ME systems so bad they each had to have the recovery disk run, and a complete reformat done before they would function again.

    Strengths:
    None Whatsoever

    Weaknesses:
    System crashes

    Summary:
This camera is an excellenct choice for the beginner and for the advanced user as well. One of the few webcams with the ability to import video from and external source. I have used a few others, namely the logitech cam that looks like an eyeball, which is horrible by the way.

    Strengths:
Excellent image and features. Very clear picture. Can import video from external sources. Works well in low light situations.

    Weaknesses:
Too light, doesn't stay in place very well. Focus feature ois awkward,a nd delayed, must be patient when focusing cam.

    Summary:
Excellent, easy to use, lots of software bundled. BUT, image quality and video quality on my 500MHz K6-II is not too good.

    Strengths:
    ease of use software

    Weaknesses:
video slow (might blame CPu though) still capture quality seems suboptimal
