from Radio Shack Summary: The Ezonics EZCam III provides acceptable image quality when the subject is lit by plenty of bright sunlight. However, if you are using the camera at night, in a room that is lit by tungsten lamps (normal household light bulbs), the images are extremely dark and take on a reddish-orange cast. The driver software does not include a manual white balance control, so it is basically impossible to get around this problem.
The camera is easy to use and the software is easy to install. The camera is affordable, depending on where you buy it. (I paid too much for mine, unfortunately.) Strengths: Good performance when subject is lit by bright sunlight. Weaknesses: Terrible performance when subject is lit by any lighting source other than bright sun. No manual white balance control. May be overpriced at some stores. Similar Products Used: Logitech QuickCam Customer Service: n/a
