this camera will time perfect night exposure on auto using the timer switch.

I obtained a mint FE and FE2 atfer this EM, and quit onestly all 3 are exellent performers with print film.

The only real fault witch no one has mentioned about the EM, its a full stop slower then my FE, FE2 bodies, given the same lens and settings at the exact same focal point it realy is 1 to 1.5 stop less. I suspect the FG to be similar.

my interest in photography realy only started with the canon 20d dslr, then I toyed with severald D50, D80, D200, D40. my last D40 got damaged from alien abduction (so says the wife?) anyway just for kicks I optained a mint EM with 50 1.8E and vivitar 75-205mm 3.8 zoom and SB-E flash ($50 total), oh well aint it surprising how this little toy and under featured baby nikon keeps pumping out great photographs roll after rolls. exelent auto exposure night and day, easy to read exp needle and compensate via asa dial (the real exposure lock)

This little jewel is all about the enjoyment of photography and none of its futile gimics. get one and have fun.

ps. thers no mirror slap problem with the EM, the viration come from the secon shutter curtain closing, witch is after the exposure and have no consequence on photo sharpness.
