This is a Phoenix MD-mount manual SLR with the all-important aperture priority autoexposure. It is built on a common chassis known for inexpensive reliability. Some upgrades are evident here from its predecessors, most notably a fantastic ergonomic shape similar to the Leica R8. The MD mount has plenty of used, high quality optics on the market, making for an easy time of adding a versatile optical system at low cost.
