Summary: A very versitile camera that I would recommend to anyone, esp. the ELD model. It should be used on a tripod, but not necessary. The auto mirror lockup is a real plus and that's what really sets this camera apart from the rest. Strengths: It's a wonderful camera. Very easy to use. What sets this camera apart from say a 503CW with motor is that you can have it automatically lock up the mirror after each exposure. A must have if you use long exposures. Very responsive. Weaknesses: heavy, takes 5 batteries (not 6 or 4...always odd), the battery cover coin lock area can break easily. Super glue took care of that though. Similar Products Used: 500 c/m, motorized and non-motorized 35mm equipment, 4x5 cameras. Customer Service: when my 120mm lens jammed and the blades got messed up and it wouldn't come off the camera body Hasselblad got it off within a week or two.
