ColorVision OptiCAL

I bought my OptiCal Spyder along with Profile Plus. The Spyder, which can be used with CRT or LCD is very simple to use and performs what appears to be an excellent color calibration of either CRT or LCD monitors. MUCH more effective than using Adobe Gamma. If you do nothing else to your color management system, at least do this and properly calibrate your monitor. All roads to color management lead through your calibrated monitor. My only real complaint is that you must download and print your own documentation. FOr the cost, I would expect to receive current color documentation not printed on my nickel. (On the other hand, it's nice to be able to get the latest from the web site. But I want the first copy free...)
