Price Paid:  $41.00 from ecost.com

Summary:
The firewire reader pictured above is actually the old version, which was ok, but not as fast as the current one (RW019): http://www.lexar.com/readers/firewire.html This one transfers files faster than its predecessor, is more streamlined, has a removable firewire cable connection, more portable, and looks better too! ;^)

Strengths:
* File transfer from CF is faster * Removable cable (if you snap one, just buy a new one off the shelf) * More portable, has a cap to cover CF port * No drivers needed - in OSX 10

Weaknesses:
* Expensive compared to the USB 2 version, by almost 3x! * Cap cover always seem to come off its railing * Just wished the firewire version had a blue led, I just like blue better ;^)
