Review 2 of 3
Summary: This card is the non-USB enabled, non Jumpshot cable package, and it can be found at a great price. I bought mine from computers4sure.com for $144 with shipping. The Jumpshot/USB version is over $200. Be aware that with my Nikon 990 camera, I had to ship this card to Lexar for a free reprogramming. Before it was programmed, the card was half as fast to write as the 16M Lexar 8X card that came with the camera. Test your card. If it is slower than rated contact Lexar for an RMA before shipping it. Lexar turned my card around in less than a week. Strengths: Bargain price for a big fast card. Weaknesses: May need reprogramming to deliver full 8X performance with some cameras. Similar Products Used: Microtech 30MB, Olypus 32MB, Lexar 16MB 8X Customer Service: Excellent. Very helpful and fast turnaround for reprogramming the card.
