Summary:

WOW, I really can't believe some of the negative comments about this product.

IIt has been an absolute DELIGHT to own and use.

We love it. My wife & kids liked it so much we HAD to get it for the grand parents. With all them being divorced that meant we had to get 4 frames. It was worth EVERY penny. No problems at all... but I have to say the 100% FREE replacement warranty made the decision to buy these an EASY decision.

Strengths:

Easy for everyone to use. EVEN my non-techy mother-in-law can do it. Oh and they look real nice.

Weaknesses:

ALL grandparents are addicted to the thing. They all have their kids "supporting their habit" for fresh new family photos.

Great... and they are NOT overseas.

Summary:

I bought one for my in-laws for Christmas. It worked great as they do not use a computer. The following year, I bought another one for Grandma and that's when it all went downhill. The color on the first one started to fade, and the 2nd one stopped working after about 2 months. Very embarassing to give a gift that stops working.

Strengths:

Able to share pictures with computer- illiterate family.

Weaknesses:

Does not work well after a period of time. Conveniently after warranty expires.

Customer Service:

Non-existent. No response to emails. Phone number is invalid.

Summary:

The product worked ok for about 5 months, VERY slow to load photos (prefer webshots or another host), but my parents are elderly and this was the only option. The power supply went out and I might as well have thrown it in the trash. I live in Europe and sent dozens of e-mails and never could find a number to call for "support"!

Strengths:

If it works, its a basic tool

Weaknesses:

Absolutely 0 customer support! I've turned most people over here against it and will continue to do so till I leave. This company is horrible, but I still get notices wanting me to renew!! Unbelievable!

Summary:

The frame is a great idea, and my Mother enjoys it very much. But whoa be unto you if you ever have a problem....

Strengths:

Easy for the user to setup, view, and change images.

Customer Service:

Non-existent. Never return emails. Pray you never ever need it!

Summary:

I bought this for my grandmother, and it has worked beautifully so far.

Strengths:

Uploads new images each night without a hassle. Very simple design and easy to use. Good web interface for hands-on control. Neat extra features like daily weather forecasts.

Weaknesses:

Somewhat pricey, especially for the subscription. Screen must be turned away from windows or any bright light source.
