from Amazon Summary: I would hesitate to recommend this product to anyone unless they are after a quick and cheap digital picture frame, which is easy to setup and use. These are the two and only advantages of this product over other ones out there.
The problems with this product are the low resolution and poor quality LCD display. It didn't seem sharp and bright enough for my liking, no matter how I tried to tweak it. Also, the aspect ratio is an annoying 16:9 (notably also shared with many other similar 7" products like this one). This means that both your portrait and landscape format 4:3 aspect digital photos will likely be cropped automatically when displayed.
Follow up ... I have since purchased a larger 10.4" product from another supplier (specs at www.digivista.com.au) which am a lot more happier with. Strengths: Cheap - picked mine up for $90 from amazon.
Easy to use - your grandmother could do it (really!) Weaknesses: Poor quality and low resolution LCD display.
Annoying aspect ratio - 16:9 widescreen.
Not bright enought or sharp enough.
Generally poor cheap plastic look to it.
Similar Products Used: I am using another product now I bought at www.digivista.com.au Customer Service: I have not needed to contact customer service - the product is very easy to use and self explanatory.
