Polaroid IDF-1020

My husband bought me the Polaroid Digital Photo Frame Model IDF-1020 for Christmas 2007. I used it for a couple weeks at that time. I then shut it off and unplugged it, not using it again until today (we don't get much company here...). I got nothing when I turned it back on....I called tech support and he told me.....throw it out and buy a new one. I will and it won't be a Polaroid either.

I took it apart after that, to see if it obviously had a loose connection (I take apart high tech gages at work and can build a computer easily so I figured I was qualified to take a peek). There was nothing loose...

There was no dust in there, it hasn't even been moved in the last year....I hav eno explanation for it to suddenly not work...

Poor. Not particularly helpful in my case....
