Strengths: -fast to write and read
-available in good capacities
-CF is very durable
-very consistentWeaknesses: -price: more expensive than regular sandisk memory, but if your camera can take advantage of it, it's so much better. If you shop around you can find 2 gb for about 40.Bottom Line: Really not a whole lot can be said about memory, other than if it works or not, and how fast it is.
I have been using Sandisk Ultra II memory for the past 3 years, and the fact that I still use it shows that I am very happy with its performance.
When using it with my digital rebel, i was less than satisfied in its performance, but the reason for its sub-par performance was the restrictions from the camera itself. When i upgraded to a 1d, the speed increasing tremendously. I can shoot 8 fps with no issues whatosever, and image scrolling and previewing works quickly.
I have never experienced any issues with CF error, and sandisk is very reputable.
I don't even see a need to buy extreme III or IV's just because the ultra II seems blazingly fast enough for anything I need.
