Summary:

My 128 MB Lexar SD card looks a little like the platinum models, but it does not say "Platinum" or "40x speed".

At the time of this writing, the camera used with this SD card is a Panasonic DMC-FZ7K.

I use this memory card only occasionally for taking pictures, because of its small capacity and slower transfer rate.

I usually store pictures and data on it instead.

Strengths:

Sturdy, reliable. Good for backing-up documents and images.

Great for displaying pictures in digital frames.

Weaknesses:

Can be slightly slow at transfering data, especially when taking pictures.

Small capacity. (Less than 70 full-resolution high-quality JPGs fit).
