Apacer SmartMedia

Ibought an Apacer 256 Mb Compact Flash memory card for my new EOS D60 camera. The first card gave me errors. Some of the data was corrupted and the camera said "card error". I returned it to the shop and the replaced it. The new one performed faultlessly but last night at a party the camera began to slow down again and give me the same error messages. I had to switch it off and restart it. This took several attempts before it started working again. As soon as I find the till receipt I will return it for a Sandisk or similar.

I bought my Apacer 32MB Smartmedia card at Fry's Electronics in Sunnyvale, California whilst on a recent business trip. The price was roughly half of what I would have paid in the UK. It has performed faultlessly in my Fuji MX1500 camera and in my opinion, is as good as cards costing much more.

Recently, I just received a 16MB Apacer Smart Media from www.myaopen.com. The price was reasonable and so far, I have not yet encountered any problems with it. I had also contact someone in Apacer Memory and received great service with technical support and compatiablity issues. I would really recommend this product to those who need to upgrade their flash cards.
