Strengths: It works with microdrives and CF cards. File transfer rates are satisfactory. No huge delays. When the transfer is complete, the display returns to "standby mode". Battery life (with an included lithium battery) is fine. It comes with a AC power cord, a car adapter, a lithium batter, and a AA battery pack. A good deal for $230. When connected to the PC with a USB connection (running Windows XP) my PC saw it immediately as another hard drive and assigned it a drive letter. No problems at all with XP.Weaknesses: None really. It is a basic "image tank." There is no photo viewer screen, etc. like in some higher priced alternatives. It is a simple storage solution. For that purpose it works fine, and it's cheap.Bottom Line: I needed something to download a 1 gig microdrive onto when I was away from my computer. I didn't want/need a laptop for this purpose. The Image Tank performs this function in a perfectly satisfactorily manner. It's small, light, and has a 15 Gig laptop hard drive, which can be swapped out for a larger one easily if needed. I recommend it to anyone who takes a lot of RAW mode photos with a D-30/D-60 equivilant D-SLR.

Strengths: copied the files from the micro drive (full) 1Gbyte in about 18minutes or so.
One button operation. Battery pack can use the same AA's as the Maha rechargeables in my flash unit.Weaknesses: Wish it would have a button to erase the photos on the micro drive.Bottom Line: Just picked up the Image tank(300$), took out the 3 gig drive and added a 10 gig(90$). Used it in a shoot today of racers, it was nice to download my 3 1G micro drives on my belt with one push of a button. This beats lugging a laptop around, also not as likely to be stolen.
