pretty bad in Asia. The company is not really any help on the web and they are not quick to address problems

Summary:

limited scanner but good for basic scanning needs for web output or small print enlargements
a excellent first scanner or backup

Strengths:

easy to learn
great value for the money, came bundled with full version of Photoshop

Weaknesses:

software inadequate-I always scan "raw" and ,make adjustments in Photoshop
noisy in the shadows
