The ScanMaker 4900 sets new standards in the entry-level scanner market offering high specifications and low-profile design at a very affordable price. It has a high 2400 x 4800dpi optical resolution and scans at true 48-bit colour depth. The Sigma-six CCD sensor, which features six rows of sensors (instead of the usual three), delivers enhanced accuracy, clarity and resolution. The scanner also features seven Smart-touch buttons for Scan, Copy, Email, OCR, Scan-to-Web, Setup/Cancel plus a customisable button. The ScanMaker 4900 includes ABBYY FineReader Sprint OCR as well as Adobe Photoshop 5 LE for Macintosh and Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4 for Windows and Ulead DVD PictureShow for Windows that creates slide shows for viewing on your DVD player.
