The best photo sharing/printing/archiving solution out there The free Fotoalbum is a clear distinction fromother photo sites.It allows me to take my digital photos and easyily upload and synchronize them with me desktop at home (useful for my own archiving purposes. Then you can select with the click of a button the ones you want to be published as public or provate pictures). The two way synchronization works great. My wife is able to download pictures from the web onto her at work and then have a screensaver/slideviewer at work of the latest pictures

Fotoalbum software and ease of use forn infrequent browsers. It use some of the more techical aspects takes more time - however the album owner only needs to do this - casual users don't seeit. Excellent technical customer service. Always get a knowledgeable answer within 1 day.

Some controls (eg album sequence) seem to be duplicated on the web version and the PC version and need to be set the same in both places for them to work

I have been using fotoAlbum software and web site for less then a week but I am really impressed. I haven't used any other upload services or related album software, but I researched most if not all. Fotoalbum seems to stand out because the software and web site are really like one. Once you download the software you can organize your photos in numerous ways, add captions to multiple or single photos easily, set private or public access with ease. Once you are done with this, or after you complete just a small amount of organization you can click on web sync and your album(s) will be created on line. The great thing about this is once your photos are loaded it is simple to go back and arrange them later. All you have to do is make changes in your software, hit web sync, and everything will be changed in no time. Unlimited storage is a nice feature as well. My title is a little sarcastic, but after finding so many pages with junk links everywhere it is suprising to find a site with so few links. Many people might think that because they don't have a home page cluttered with links to everything under the sun something must be wrong, but this isn't the case. The few links they do have are about the features and product information. There is also a link to a demo album page which is exactly what it says it is, it doesn't take you on a ten page mystery tour. No product is perfect, and there are a few things I wish were a little different, but they are very minor. With what seems after one fast reply an excellent customer service at work, any problems or concerns you have will actually be looked at for future development. This is one of the reasons why I gave this product 5 stars. They will change along with everyone else in the future.
