Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $40.00 from Inmedia

Summary:

Still impressed with this program after 4 years, especially when compared to newer options.

Strengths:

Ease of adding captions, various tranistions & synchronising with CD tracks on music CDs or home-made mixed media CDs

Weaknesses:

Inability to precisely time slide shows. Need some extra knowledge to delete unused sound files previously tested in a slide show.

Similar Products Used:

Photoshop Album, Easy CD Creator. Microsoft alternatives

Customer Service:

Was very good but Inmedia have dropped the product. Someone could take it over (& establish genuine compatability with Win XP

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $39.00 from Internet

Summary:

If you want to take your photos from camera to slide show in the least amount of time plus add music and effects, this is the program. The only problem is that it will not sync music with slides perfectly - in other words, if you are timing the slides to certain portions of the song for effect, it will play back differently on another computer and you will loose the timing. But for $40.00 it's the best program out there right now for PC and Mac. And if you don't plan on switching computers to play it back, there are no problems with timing.

Strengths:

Intuitive

Weaknesses:

Music vs slide timing if you play back on another computer

Similar Products Used:

Adobe Premier

Customer Service:

Never tried it

Review 3 of 3

Summary:

I'm using the Demo and am trying to find out if I want to buy it. I like the ease of use. Very simple format. I like the way you can edit a slideshow and change things. The only drawback is it won't except gif animations onto a slide. This is what will sell me if I can find it in another slideshow. So far I probable will buy this product if I can't find one that excepts gif animations. This program has a ton of transistions.
