Price Paid: $49.00 from Best Buy

Summary:

I never could get the Platinum 5 software install properly and the support was just about as bad. Unfortunately I read the negative reviews after it was too late. After messing with the thing for two days I took it back and exchanged it for PSP-8.

Strengths:

Beautiful interface I actually liked the bubblegum look. Error message box worked especially well.

Weaknesses:

A window kept coming up telling me that something in my system was not being recognized. Never did get roxio 5 to work properly.

Price Paid: $60.00 from Staples

Summary:

Great idea from Roxio, but slow. Very slow. The more pictures you add, the slower it gets.

Strengths:

CD Burning (Archiving)

Weaknesses:

Slow Cannot share Albums with other computers on a Network.

Customer Service:

Roxio seems to think other programs are causing the slow speed. Believe me. It is no faster on a fresh installed XP machine with no other software installed.

Summary:

A great improvement over Photosuite 4, much easiers to organize albums and to edit photographs.

ease of use

Weaknesses:

Somewhat slow when switching between functions
