Summary:

All the features and functions of PhotoSuite 7 are tightly integrated and included within Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 (EMC7). I purchased EMC7 because it provided all of Roxio's great digital media products under one integrated application. PhotoSuite 7 provides an integrated suite of tools for working with your digital media, including: (1) A robust set of photo editing tools; (2) Capture utility for capturing media directly from your digital cameras; (3) Media Manager utility to manage, view and find all photos, video clips, projects and audio files; (4) Story Board, which allows you to combine your photos, video clips and songs to create a multimedia slide show. Can also add titles, transitions, narration track, and special effects; (5) DVD Builder (VCD) allows you to create professional looking Video CDs with complete control over buttons, menus, chapters and backgrounds. It also includes content template to work from; (6) Label Creator allows you to create disc labels, covers and case inserts using themed templates or design your own; (7) Many pre-designed project templates to create professional looking cards, calendars, invitations, etc., plus you can create a photo stitch or add a border to your photo.

Strengths:

Easy to learn and use product that allows you to do much more than just edit photos (see above).

Weaknesses:

I'm still very much from the paper generation and would have appreciated a printed manual. The PDF user manuals/guides were good, but I ended up printing some of them out.

Similar Products Used:

I have struggled learning PhotoShop Elements before, but found PhotoSuite 7 much easier to learn how to use.

Customer Service:

Very good. They provide many materials to make you self sufficient, such as how-to video tutorials, and PDF product user guides. The Roxio web site has a good knowledgebase that helps you find answers, and if you are still needing help, I found their tech support email response pretty good, as they sent answers to my questions usually in 1-2 days.
