Used iSeeMedia Panorama version 3.0. Easy to use, but mostly due to lack of needed features. Slow, inaccurate, lacks basic needed functions like individual image zoom, pan, rotate, and INSTALLER LOADS UNNEEDED BLOATWARE ONTO YOUR SYSTEM WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. Visible artifacting at joins between images.

Strengths:

Review 2 of 5

Summary:

Overall, it's a great panorama stitcher for the price. It works quite well but sometimes does need help to line up the panorama. The blending modes often leads to some artificts. But it's incredibly easy to use and makes gorgeous panoramas most of the time without any help.

Strengths:

Easy to use, nearly flawless each time.

Weaknesses:

still needs some help lining up sometimes; blending algorithm needs some more work.

Review 3 of 5

Summary:

This program stitches together great panoramic photos amazingly fast. Before PhotoVista I painstakingly handstiched my panoramics using layers in PaintShop Pro. PhotoVista offers you the tools you need to make quick work of this task. You should be able to use the automatic stiching tool about 95% of the time if you have a level horizon. If not, you can switch to manual stiching and easily control the end result.

Review 4 of 5

Summary:

Take a bunch of pictures... Load them into the PhotoVista software and let the computer do a allignment for 360 degree shots or panoramas... As easy as it gets. I liked the PhotoVista software so much, bought the whole Reality Studio for creating virtual worlds. The virtual tour of Bodie (a ghost town) at: http://www.thelizards.com/bodie/index.html is an example.

Review 5 of 5

Summary:

I first got this program in late 1997 bundled with an Agfa digicam. I have upgraded to newer versions, each of which has been better than the last. Because I like panorama photography, I have tried several competing products despite my satisfaction with PhotoVista. PhotoVista has them all beat, in my view: its stitches are more accurate than the competition's, and it offers the possibility of manual adjustments if needed, which competing products for the most part do not.

Strengths:

accurate alignments many "lenses" available manual adjustment possible

Weaknesses:

does not allow stitching fisheye images java applet and html are not the most efficient
