Summary:

All the features and functions of VideoWave 7 is tightly integrated and included within Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 (EMC7). I purchased EMC7 because it provided all of Roxio's great digital media products under one integrated application. VideoWave 7 is a verstile, yet comprehensive set of consumer video editing and DVD authoring tools. I like how easy it is to capture video footage from my video camera and then edit and compose my own movie creations. It offers some flexible creation options that are designed to cater to experience level - from automated video editing, to guided video editing, up to work-on-your-own pace. This program is very flexible and highly functional. I recommend it to all.

Strengths:

Easy to learn and use product. Can produce great video projects and burn to DVD, SVCD or VCD.

Weaknesses:

I'm still very much from the paper generation and would have appreciated a printed manual. The PDF user manuals/guides were good, but I ended up printing some of them out.

Similar Products Used:

I tried Nero at a friend's house and it was clunkier to use, plus it locked up on me a few times?

Customer Service:

Very good. They provide many materials to make you self sufficient, such as how-to video tutorials, and PDF product user manuals/guides. The Roxio web site has a good knowledgebase that helps you find answers, and if you are still needing help, I found their tech support email response pretty good, as they sent answers to my questions usually in 1-2 days.
