Review 1 of 10

Price Paid:  $9.00 from Target

Summary:

This is only the 2nd APS film I''ve used. It''s noticeably better than Kodak Advantix in terms of colour balance and grain. It approaches 35mm film in quality, plus APS flexibility. With films like these, APS can take over 35mm in the consumer market.

Strengths:

Wonderful prints. Great balance and small grain.

Weaknesses:

Costs more.

Similar Products Used:

Kodak Advantix

Customer Service:

Never tried.

Review 2 of 10

Summary:

I used to use Kodak exclusively for years. Recently, after the purchase of my first APS camera I started experimenting with different kids of film and found Fuji Superia to be considerably better than Kodak Advantix. I tried to search for technical information on both Kodak and Fuji; but it seems like Kodak has its own method of measuring grain and does not use the customary methods. Therefore, it was impossible to do a full technical comparison.

Strengths:

Fine grain
Good color saturation

Weaknesses:

None

Review 3 of 10

Price Paid:  $3.00

Summary:

For all around speed in various outdoor light levels, unbeatable. Also very good for fill flash outdoors, and flash indoors.

Strengths:

Very fine grain, realistic colors, nice contrast level. very affordable. My wife is an expert critic on flesh tones and sky tones, and this is her favorite! Sometimes I shoot panoramics and trim them to 4 X &, and people can't tell I've cropped it! Gives the equivalent of doubling my focal length. Try it; Fuji's A200 can do it!

Weaknesses:

Haven't found any weaknesses.

Similar Products Used:

Kodak Advantix 200

Customer Service:

I can find any Fuji emulsion speed and size I want, at Target stores.

Review 4 of 10

Price Paid:  $7.00 from Target

Summary:

Is a great 200 speed APS film. It's usually on sale and you can get a 40 exp. bonus roll with a 3 pack. (that's what I look for when I buy it) It's just as good as, if not better than Kodak's 200 speed film for about 1/2 the price.

Strengths:

relatively inexpensive, good colour saturation.

Weaknesses:

it's APS, that's an automatic downfall.

Similar Products Used:

Kodak products

Review 5 of 10

Price Paid:  $8.00 from Wal*Mart

Summary:

The finest APS film I've used!

Tight grain for panoramic shots with minimal distortion. Vibrant colors, especially indoors with Fuji's 4th layer Rela technology.

I used Kodak films exclusively in my 35mm SLR's but have changed to Fuji for those as well. A very high quality product at a tremendous value!

Strengths:

Fine Grain
Excellent Price-$7.88 3pk
Real Techonoogy

Weaknesses:

Limited Availability
