This film is ok for general use and for the money you pay.I start my first steps at serious photograph with this film.Rarely i get the results i wanted with this film.A lot of grain and strange/washed out colors comparing to Fuji Superia 200 which is 3 times the price of Agfa. I regret starting with this film.First i thought was a fault of my camera or lense.unfortunately was the film.

Get it right and it looks ok.

Not forgiving to exposure errors, Very Grainy if under exposed.

Cheap as chips even at photography shops, But its not very forgiving to errors.

This is a great film and a great bargain for the money. I have used several rolls of this film in its incarnation as Walgreens Studio 35, and I have been very pleased. It seems to have a somewhat different color palette than the Fuji or Kodak films which is a nice change. Plus if you buy it at Walgreens it is only about $6 for 4 rolls.

This is terrific film. I couldn't find this film anywhere until I read here that it is the same as Walgreen's Studio 35 private label film. I went out and bought some and fired up two rolls. After developing them, I was very pleased with the results. Even in low light, this film performed well. The colors are very rich. I also found out that this film is the same as Walmart's Polaroid film. I just bought 4 rolls for less than $4. This is amazing.

Great color accuracy without being muted or cast towards a certain color. Excellent sharpness.

Sometimes seems a bit grainy.

The 200 speed film has always been a favorite of mine. I use it for nearly everything, with his film is at the top of my list. I do a lot of pet photography and the color rendition of this film is superb; even the multitude of tans on one of our cats come out distinct and lifelike. People photography is very good too, especially on people whose face tends to redden when photographed with Fuji film. The only weakness I''ve noticed so far is a tendency for a little bit of graininess, but it''s minor.

I saw this film on sale at the same place where I take my film to be developed. Upon looking at the box, I suspected that Agfa just changed the name of their HDC film. I couldn't have been more wrong or more pleasantly surprised. Vista film renders very true to life and low grain photos and is a vast imporvement over the Agfa HDC film. HDC tended to render green as brown and bleed red, especially on close up shots. That has been fixed with the Vista 200.

Maybe the best way to describe Vista is to say what it isn't:

It isn't as super saturated as Fuji HQ 200.

It isn't as subdued in color rendition as Fuji Superia 200.

It doesn't turn everyone pink like Konica films do.

It is much better for nature closeups than Kodak Gold 200, as the greens don't tend to wash out. From my limited experience with the film it appears to deliver everyday snapshots to rival Gold 200 in sharpness.

Agfa has done it right with this film. If you want to get the other Vista speed films, you may have to order them on the internet. I did and I'll be eager to see how the 400 film delivers.

Agfa needs to update their webpage's store finder for purchasing this film. I was directed to a store which shut down two years ago. The new store under new management and at a new location did not carry their film.
