from Amazon.com Summary: Worked great and as advertised on my Pentax K10D, *istDl, LX & 645's. Compact, reasonable battery life and excellent output.
Looked very promising until the first failure in week 2 when the internal flimsy plastic linkage that retracts the pin locking the flash to the camera hotshoe failed and the flash and camera body became one piece.
A second failure occurred just after warranty expiry. The auto zoom and manual zoom functions have failed and the cause is unknown at this time.
A very disappointing performance from a pricey mainstream flash unit with moderate useage.
Back to old faithful, the Vivitar 285HV and my Metz 60Cts. Strengths: Worked great and as advertised on my Pentax K10D, *istDl, LX & 645's. Compact, reasonable battery life and excellent output. Weaknesses: Disappointing component quality and pricey. Similar Products Used: Vivitar 285HV & Metz 60 CTs Customer Service: Unknown experience as the unit is not covered by a Canadian warranty.
