Review 1 of 5

Price Paid:  $80.00 from Ritz

Summary:

I bought this product for my ZX7 a few months ago when my knowledge of cameras and flashes was weak. The more I learned, the less impressed I was with my basic flash. It was either on or off. I want to do more with my flash and this one just doesn't cut it when you go beyond the "beginner" phase. Pictures tend to look like a flash was used, something I try to avoid. It is great when you are starting off your new hobbie.

Strengths:

Size, price, quick recharge, bounce

Weaknesses:

No swivel, it's either on or off, no options or in betweens

Similar Products Used:

Just purchased AF 500, top of line for Pentax. Hope it's worth the money or I'll be mad that I got rid of my 220 for it.

Customer Service:

Never had to use it, thank God.

Review 2 of 5

Price Paid:  $66.00 from Beephoto - São Paulo

Summary:

This one is perfect for people and nature pictures. The lighting is amazingly soft and the range very reasonable. Wall of it for only US$66,00 in Brazil!! This is a very good choice.
A MUST BUY!!

Strengths:

Soft lighting, light weight, not a battery sucker, very easy to use with perfect results, bounce head, enough range, TTL.

Weaknesses:

- No swivel;
- No accessories;
- Hard to find a cord for off-camera use with Pentax Super Program.

Similar Products Used:

Pentax F330T

Customer Service:

Never needed

This is a great little unit. Exposure is always perfect. The lighting is very soft and "people pictures" turn out very well (skin tones are perfect).

Strengths:

Fast recharge rate, compact size, hundreds of shots from 4 AA batteries, good range, tilt (60/90 degrees) head.

Weaknesses:

None.
