It is easy to control the functions of the flash directly with my hand. Sunpak Bounce Ligthing Kit is a must for a soft light output.
Weakness:

This gives you the high power when you need it along with dedicated function.Also if you change camera systems you don't have to change the flash just the module.It come with zoom filter and bounce reflector. I own 8 sunpak flashes and the 444D is my everyday flash. I almost forgot the battery options, along with the onboard batterys it also accepts the high power packs.
