Strengths:    HIGH power

Weaknesses:    HIGH power = battery killer, get a Quantum Battery 1+ if your gonna take a LOT
of flash pictures

Bottom Line:
I've used this flash on my Minolta X700 for years, GREAT power, better than
Minoltas PX360....

Strengths:    It is easy to control the functions of the flash directly with my hand.
Sunpak Bounce Ligthing Kit is a must for a soft light output.

Weaknesses:    No Power Zoom function.

Bottom Line:
A reliable flash with dedicated module.
Its GN 36 (ISO 100 m) at 35mm makes me have sufficient power for bounce flash.

Strengths:    Everything mentioned in review

Weaknesses:    none

Bottom Line:
Great flash. This gives you the high power when you need it along with dedicated function. Also if you change camera systems you don't have to change the flash just the module. It come with zoom filter and bounce reflector. I own 8 sunpak flashes and the 444D is my everyday flash. I almost forgot the battery options, along with the onboard batterys it also accepts the high power packs. Sunpaks 510v, TR-II and TR-IIa, along with Quantum.
