Summary:
The 1.4x tele-converter is a top-notch accesory for your Minolta prime APO lenses. There is no visible reduction in sharpness when used. Color balance is the same as without. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to extend their prime lens without much of a sacrifice. Focus speed reduction noticed but minimal.

Summary:
I''ve used this converter with the 300 f2.8 and 400 f4.5 APO lenses with excellent results. As expected there is a slight reduction of focusing speed and the loss of one f stop. I unhesitatingly recommend this converter to anyone wanting to extend the focal lenght of their prime APO Minolta lenses.
