Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/4G ED VR 35mm Zoom

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/4G ED VR 35mm Zoom

DESCRIPTION

The new Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/4G ED VR professional zoom lens is perfect for outdoor and travel photographers who need a smaller, lighter pro-quality telephoto zoom. It's also a great option for photographers who need a pro 70-200mm zoom but can't afford the AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II.

Strength:

This lens cannot be faulted! It is supersharp, and otherwise almost optically perfect! And only as big/heavy that it has to be.

Weakness:

But is it worth the enormous price? I think not. The newest AF-P 70-300 f/4.5-5.6VR (for FX) and the newest AF-P DX 70-300 f/4.5-6.3VR is both as sharp and otherwise "perfect", and you get 100mm longer reach. The question then is: is it worth paying double or triple for 0.5-1,5 stop of light? I sold mine, and bought the 70-300 instead.
