DESCRIPTION

The HSM is incorporated into the compact standard zoom lens 18-50mm F3.5-5.6 DC giving this lens the capability to auto focus with all Nikon DSLR cameras(including the D40 and D40x). An aspherical lens and Super Multi Layer Coatings are used to achieve excellent lens performance and High image quality throughout the entire zoom range. Vignetting will occur if the lens is used with digital cameras with image sensors larger than APS-C size or 35mm SLR cameras.
