Strengths:    Very compact and light. When hiking to do landscape work this is my lens of choice to carry because of its compact size and weight

Weaknesses:    May not be sturdy enough to stand up to a lot of beating that lens take in outdoor/landscape work, although I've never had any problems with mine.

Bottom Line:
I've used this lens for 11 years and have made some of my best pictures with it. The glass is very sharp and reviews claim it contains aspherical lens groups.

Strengths:    Very sharp lens and low price for what you get.

Weaknesses:    Slow lens, hard to focus in dim light. soft pictures at 210mm.

Bottom Line:
This has been my best zoom lens of all time. Very sharp in the 85mm-150mm range. Very light for such a large zoom. Best results have been obtained in the F8-F11 range (where I do most of my shooting).

Strengths:    Light and cheap, does its work well, turn (revolve) zoom.

Weaknesses:    The autofocus is acceptable, not as fast as my 28-70 2.8 EX for canon. Manual focus is a kind of loose, so you might lose sharpness when you let go. I seem to be the only one with a twist(?) zoom instead of a push pull!

Bottom Line:
A nice lens for a casual photographer. For the artist who spends more time to compose and focus, not reccommended.

Strengths:    It is a very light lens and in my opinion very sharp

Weaknesses:    also the push/pull zoom

Bottom Line:
It is a very light lens and very compact. The sharpness is very very good. I use the manual focus modus and this is very simple to handle. I use it very often for racing photography and I`m so glad I use this lens for it. If you want a 200 mm lens with a great sharpness, here it is.

Strengths:    This is a refurbished Mk 1 APO version. It is very sharp with good contrast. I am amazed with its quality for the money.

Weaknesses:    Focus ring is a little loose. But does not affect focusing. A bit noisy when focusing and hunts a bit. Push pull slips slightly.

Bottom Line:
For a refurbished lens at a cheap price this is amazing. It gave me my first 'enjoyable' pictures - sharp and contrasty with beautiful colours. If you see one cheap: buy it.
