Strengths: The zoom capabilities are really great. It is a pleasure to handle and the image stabilization features are really impressive.
Weaknesses: I would prefer a wider aperature for low light situations but this lens beats all in it's class.
This is a great lens for all photographic subjects. It's wide ang and tele capabilities cover all range of subjects from landscape to close-up macro.
It is my number one lens and a real jack of all lens.
It is always on my camera and this way I can be ready for anything.
I do a lot of nature subjects and this fills the bill completely, From images of insects to large game at a distance.
