The focusing ring does not rotate during AF drive offering excellent holding and balance. Two aspheric lens elements (three surfaces) are used to ensure correction of spherical aberration, coma, and sagittal flar to produce the highest image qualite. In addition, the 24-105 features a circular aperture to produce a smooth and attractive soft effect outside the depth-of-field zone.
