A very compact lightweight lens. Great complement to the 22-80 and 80-240 mm Vectis lenses. Im carrying around 22-400 mm in a small case. Strengths:
When the focus is tack on the lens outdoes any APS film in sharpness, ie the quality of the lens is almost a bit overkill for the APS system. No obvious distortions. Weaknesses:
The fixed f/8 needs alot of light. Go for kodak or fuji 400asa or use a tripod. The af needs a bit of help on close range shots (near the short limit) but the manual focus works well once you get the hang of it. Customer Service:
Repaired my vectis. They repaired a totally demolished camera I dropped from a height in egypt. It took forever but they can perform miracles.
