Strength:

-Small, light weight, easy to carry
-Same as a 600/8 on 35mm
-Sharp for a mirror

Weakness:

Needs to be super stable, no hand holding unless using ASA 400...which in APS is not good/too much grain

While APS is now dead, when I did use this lens, I learned very quickly that like it's 35mm couterparts, a CAT (mirror) needs to be very stable, so most handheld shots were disappointing. BUT, as soon as I put it on a tripod or beanbag, the quality was very good! It is the similar to a 600/8 in 35mm and I got this as I had good results with a Sigma 600. Didn't use it much but when I did, I was glad I had it.

Customer Service

Strength:

When the focus is tack on the lens outdoes any APS film in sharpness, ie the quality of the lens is almost a bit overkill for the APS system. No obvious distortions.

Weakness:

The fixed f/8 needs alot of light. Go for kodak or fuji 400asa or use a tripod. The af needs a bit of help on close range shots (near the short limit) but the manual focus works well once you get the hang of it.

A very compact lightweight lens. Great complement to the 22-80 and 80-240 mm Vectis lenses. Im carrying around 22-400 mm in a small case.

Customer Service

Repaired my vectis. They repaired a totally demolished camera I dropped from a height in egypt. It took forever but they can perform miracles.
